You are cordially invited to Brighton's inaugural CS meetup! For strategists, web writers, editors, UX designers and IAs; from Brighton, London and beyond. 

Starting with drinks and nibbles in the iCrossing canteen, we'll kick things off with a group discussion around the theme (honouring the recent TedxBrighton):

"Reasons to be cheerful (about the future of content)"

If you've got a reason to be cheerful, please submit it in the following format to charlie.peverett@icrossing.co.uk by 5pm on the day.

Concept (just a word or a sentence will do - it could be a piece of news, a personal experience or realisation, a research finding, a new app, a type of content or user behaviour)

We won’t expect you stand up on the night and talk about it if you don’t want to.... Just give us enough detail to get the conversation started. We'll compile all reasons submitted ahead of time and display them on a plasma screen. 

We'll also be asking what everyone wants from a regular CS meetup. e.g. 

How often do we want to run a content strategy meetup in Brighton? Monthly?

How do we want to keep talking in the meantime – Brighton CS Google Group?

How do people feel about mixing with others (e.g. a UX group) from time to time?

How do we find hosts?

What topics would people like to discuss?

Would everyone be happy to do a quick follow-up survey?
